About BaseCam

BaseCam Electronics Manufacturing (SIA NewBaseCam) was founded in Riga, Latvia by a team of stabilizer controller developers who needed their own manufacturing facility to better control the processes and quality of their products. Today, we pleased to offer our electronic manufacturing services to everyone.

Production Line Features

Desen “Navigator” automatic screen printer – ensuring precise solder paste deposition with integrated 2D inspection and quick setup changeovers.

Two Panasonic AM100 pick-and-place machines (2024 & 2025 production) – offering exceptional reliability, accuracy, and broad component handling capability from 01005 passives up to large connectors and IC packages.

8-zone reflow oven with active cooling – providing stable and repeatable soldering profiles for both leaded and lead-free processes.

MEK AOI inspection system – delivering detailed post-reflow optical inspection and process traceability.

The combined placement capacity of both Panasonic AM100 machines reaches up to 44000 components per hour (IPC-9850). This setup ensures consistent quality, short lead times, and full process control from stencil printing to automated optical inspection.

We participate in Project No. 1.2.1.1/2/25/A/006, “Latvian Electrical Engineering and Electronics Industry Cluster”. The aim of the project is to support the internationalization of the members of the Latvian Electrical Engineering and Electronics Industry Cluster and to promote cooperation between the private, public and research sectors.
